Jean "Johnny" Lalonde passed away peacefully in the early morning of March 5, 2025, in Greenfield Park, Quebec. Born on May 5, 1938, in Hawkesbury, Ontario, he lived a long life marked by his love for his family and his incredible work ethic. He took great pride in his time at Pratt & Whitney with a career that spanned over 24 years. Dad was always ready for a party and his home was always open. Throughout his years, Johnny touched the lives of many with his uncanny ability to fix, repair or build almost anything, his willingness to be a helping hand and his passion for music.
Johnny leaves behind to mourn, his children, Violet (Nereo), Ross (Donna), Bobby (Kerry), and Tanya. He was also a cherished grandparent to Jason, Dana, Greg, Amanda, Chad, Caitlan, and Alessandra, and a great-grandfather to Aiden and Logan. Johnny was predeceased by his wife, Shirley, and their daughter Barbara.
His memory will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him.
