It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert William Leger, who peacefully departed on July 4, 2024, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 7, 1954, Bobby's life was marked by his indomitable spirit, boundless energy, and a love for life that touched everyone around him.
Bobby spent his last moments surrounded by love. By his side were his wife, Magda, his sons, Jesse, Kevin, Patrick, and his siblings, Allan (Tamara), April, JoAnn (Sandro), Mary Ellen, and Susann. He will be deeply missed.
His exceptional character and charisma could light up any room. He brought joy through his infectious laughter and wisdom through his countless stories. He was a light in the lives of many, and they will carry on his memory.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Cité de la Santé Hospital Cancer Unit for their exceptional care and support throughout Bobby's illness. A special thank you to Fanny Davis, whose unwavering dedication, patience, and guidance provided immense comfort during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Fondation Cité de la Santé (fondationcitedelasante.com) or the Maxime-Letendre Foundation (maximeletendre.org), organizations that were close to Bobby's heart and provided invaluable support during his journey.
Bobby, you will forever remain in our hearts. We will miss your laughter, your spirit, and the profound joy you brought into our lives. Rest in peace.
