My very deepest condolences to Carmine's immediate family, to his brothers along with their families and to the many long time friends who share the memories of our time on Second Avenue in St. Michel. We walked to school together, sharing laughter and making memories that continue to warm our hearts. I am particularly grateful for the conversation Carmine and I had about 10 days before his passing.
We said, hello and then goodbye...rest peacefully old friend.

Dear Family Members,
I remember your beloved father well. In September, 1964, we started at JFK High School in class 1B. Carmine was seated in front of me in first row first seat. He became a confidente, protector, and "showed me the ropes" as we navigated our new environment. Intelligent, hard working, courageous, talented, strong, and cordial to everyone, he was a natural leader following his own path. It was great to reconnect 2 years ago at our class reunion. Immediately the connection revived with stories of his adventures and family. My deepest condolences on his passing. I owe much to Carmine by his example at that formidable time. May his memory be a blessing to you all. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May a wonderful soul Rest in Peace.

I first knew Carmine in grade school, and we went on to share our high school years together at JFK. We also lived close to each other in St. Michel, so our friendship was woven into everyday life: walking the same streets, sharing the same neighborhood, growing up side by side.
Carmine was always a gentle and kind young man. He had a quiet goodness about him that made people feel at ease, and it never wavered, no matter the circumstances.
Two years ago, we met again at our high school reunion. After so many years apart, I wondered how time might have changed us, but within minutes it felt as though no time had passed. He was still the same beautiful soul I had known as a boy. I am so grateful we had that chance to reconnect.
I will always remember Carmine, his warmth, his kindness, and the friendship we shared growing up.
To his family, please accept my heartfelt condolences. He was loved, and he will be deeply missed.
