It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Francesco De Crescenzo on Friday May 8th, 2020 from Covid-19 at the age of 89 years. He is predeceased by his wife Cecilia Cafaro and daughter Norma De Crescenzo (Gino Verducci).
He leaves to mourn him his two daughters Angela and Rosa (Gioacchino), his grandchildren, Danny (Sonia), Eric, Shanna (Giuseppe), Alex, David (Elizabeth) and Matthew; his great grandchildren Melina, Gabriel, Ariana, Raphaëlla, Rocco, Adamo and Valentina. He also leaves his brother Mario and sister Angelina, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces as well as other family members and friends from Montreal, Italy, the United States and Argentina.
He was born in Bellona, Italy and would have wonderful stories about childhood to share with his family. He immigrated and raised his family in both Argentina and Montreal. Proudly, he worked in construction and in his spare time he was an avid gardener and amateur winemaker. He will be remembered as a strong-willed man with a big heart who touched many lives.
Ci mancherai tanto caro papa, nonno e bisnonno. Non ci dimenticheremo mai di te.

Hello Jack & Rosie Shanna & Alex and your extended family...
We were so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Terri & I would like to express our most heartfelt sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I've seen many friends and family members pass on these past few months and the hardest part has been for them and surely for you all as well to bid him a proper farewell. It is always sad to lose a parent but it's much sadder during these circumstances. We would have definitely been present to pay our respects but sadly this wasn't the case.
