My sincere condolences to Indra's family and friends. Indra had a great sense of humour heading into a 3-6pm English class... I enjoyed hearing about her travels.

I am sorry that Indra has left us and that her retirement was not a period of well-being. She was a warm and friendly person and we had many chats together.

It was with great sadness that I heard about Indra's passing yesterday. She was such an interesting lady - always ready with a story or anecdote. I have many fond memories of Indra. We spent many many hours discussing our cruise experiences, our rental/tenant disasters and our renovations that I feel I was with her on her many different adventures. She will definitely be missed by all who knew her. Respectfully, Cherie Gregor

I was very sorry to hear about Indra. We used to speak about her cruises and our students, and she called me a few times to chat after she retired. My condolences to her friends and family. Alan

I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Indra. I shared and office and worked with her for over 10 years at the CEGEP and we developed a friendship that I will miss profoundly. She was extraordinary in all senses of the word. I will miss our deep philosophical conversations and the complicity that we had. I spoke to Indra every year after she retired and her absence will leave a void in my life. While I knew she had health issues, her passing so soon has taken me by surprise. All my sincere condolences to her family and her friends. Rest in Peace, Indra!

I was so sorry to hear that Indra had passed. I shared an office with Indra for many years and enjoyed her and our chats so much. For some reason, what I remember most fondly, were the years when she had her little bird Ocean. Oh how she loved Ocean. Almost every time we were in the office together, she would smile so fondly as she recounted another cute story about what her adorable Ocean had done the previous day. I really enjoyed knowing Indra and am so sad to hear that she has passed. I know she had health problems yet this just seems so sudden and so premature. Please accept my most sincere condoleances. I will miss her.

It is with sadness that I would like to express my condolences at Indra's passing. A long time member of the E-Montpetit language department, I have also been retired for many years. Nevertheless, I was on the committee that hired Indra and the qualities she showed that day are still very much on my mind, kind, resolute, quiet and dignified, smart and cultured. She was deep waters that were hidden.
