Au CHLSD de Farnham, le 18 juin 2026 à l’âge de 86 ans, est décédé John Charles Davies, époux d’Hélène Gignac.
L’ont précédé ses parents Mildred Dexter et Edward Wright Davies, ses frères, Edward, Peter et sa sœur Barbara.
Outre son épouse, John laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Kenneth, Robert, Kevin (Ruth Goodman), Tasha (Jason Vandenberghe), ses petits-enfants, Emily, Rachel, Julia, Richard, Mathew, Max et Abby, le fils de son épouse, Pascal-Étienne ainsi que la famille Gignac, Louis, Brenda, Anne Thibaudeau et ses nombreux neveux et nièces de la famille Gignac.
Une rencontre pour célébrer la vie de John aura lieu samedi le 8 août prochain entre 2pm et 7pm. Un buffet sera servi à partir de 5pm.
Cette rencontre se tiendra à la Coopérative funéraire du Grand Montréal, succursale Longueuil, 635 boul. Curé-Poirier ouest, Longueuil.
Hélène tient à remercier le personnel du CHSLD pour les soins et toute l’attention qu’ils ont donné à John durant son séjour et spécialement en lui prodiguant les soins de fin de vie.
John Charles Davies passed away on the 18th of June at the age of 86 years at the CHSLD Farnham. He was the beloved husband of Hélène Gignac.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mildred Dexter and Edward Wright Davies, by his brothers Edward and Peter and his sister Barbara.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Kenneth, Robert, Kevin ( Ruth Goodman); Tasha, (Jason Vandenberghe); his grandchildren, Emily, Rachel, Julia, Richard, Mathew, Max and Abby; his wife’s son, Pascal-Etienne; as well as members of the Gignac family, Louis, Brenda, Anne Thibaudeau along many nieces and nephews from the Gignac family.
A gathering to celebrate John’s life will be held on Saturday, August 8 from 2pm to 7pm. A buffet will be served beginning at 5p.m.
The celebration will be held at the Coopérative funéraire du Grand Montreal, Longueuil branch located at 635 Curé-Poirier Boulevard West, Longueuil.
Hélène wishes to express her gratitude to the staff of the CHSLD for the compassionate care and attention they provided to John throughout this stay, especially during end-of-life care.
