Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido Humberto Porras Castillo, quien partió para estar con el Señor el 18 de septiembre de 2026, a la edad de 69 años.
Humberto fue un amado pastor de la Iglesia Bautista de Westmount y será recordado con mucho cariño por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Fue un esposo amoroso, fiel y atento, además de un querido mejor amigo para su amada esposa, Jill Reed Porras.
A lo largo de su vida y ministerio, Humberto sirvió fielmente al Señor y a su iglesia, compartiendo su fe, su amor y su compasión con quienes lo rodeaban. Su devoción a Dios y su cuidado por los demás dejaron una huella profunda en muchas vidas, y su memoria permanecerá siempre en el corazón de quienes lo conocieron y amaron.
Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Jill Reed Porras; sus hijos y nietos; sus hermanos y hermanas; cuñados y cuñadas; sobrinos y sobrinas; así como numerosos familiares, amigos y miembros de su familia de la iglesia.
La familia recibirá las condolencias el domingo 27 de septiembre de 2026, a las 3:00 p. m., seguida de un servicio fúnebre a las 4:00 p. m. en la Iglesia Bautista de Westmount, 411 Avenue Roselyn, Westmount, Montreal.
La familia desea expresar su más sincero agradecimiento al equipo de atención médica por su cuidado, apoyo y compasión durante los últimos días de Humberto.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Humberto Porras Castillo, who went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2026, at the age of 69.
Humberto was a beloved pastor of Westmount Baptist Church and was fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a loving, devoted, and caring husband, as well as a cherished best friend to his beloved wife, Jill Reed Porras.
Throughout his life and ministry, Humberto faithfully served the Lord and his church, sharing his faith, love, and compassion with those around him. His devotion to God and his care for others touched many lives, and his memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Jill Reed Porras; his children and grandchildren; his brothers and sisters; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; as well as many relatives, friends, and members of his church family.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at Westmount Baptist Church, 411 Roselyn Avenue, Westmount, Montreal.
The family wishes to express its sincere gratitude to the healthcare team for their care and compassion during Humberto’s final days.
